Abortion:
While I respect a person's right to choose, I am against abortion in all cases except possibly when baby and mothers life is in danger. There are many couples who want children and cannot have them, it is my belief that if you do not want or cannot care for your child, adoption is a better answer.

Spending and Taxes:
In recent times costs have sky rocketed for everyone, why would government services be any different? Keeping spending down by removing unnecessary or ineffective services. Also determine which improvement projects are not necessary and place them on hold until economic conditions are more stable. The more stable the budget is the easier it is to control taxes and debt.

Campaign Finance:
I believe that the burden of the cost should be on the candidate. However in the time we live money can buy an election through brute force advertising. There is nothing wrong with this, however every campaign should have a cap on how much they are allowed to spend based on the office they are running for.

Education:
Education is the key to building our community and nation. Every effort to make sure people get proper education should be made.

Employment:
Making sure people in our community are working is the key to making sure taxes are paid to keep the community running. Right now this is an important issue for many in our community. Buy hiring local people to work on any Borough projects will not only help the Borough but the citizen as well.

Environment:
Keeping our streets clean is the first step in helping the environment. Making sure there is proper Garbage and Recycling services for our community is the first step of many.

Gun Control:
This is fairly simple. If you are a convicted felon of any violent crime you do not get a gun.

Health:
The Medicare and Medicaid systems need to be simplified. There many that simply cannot figure out the forms on what they need.

Immigration:
The past few years our area has seen many illegal immigrants working jobs that people in our community should be working. We need to make sure that our community gets the benefits for of those jobs.

Gay Marriage/Defining Marriage:
I have a different stand point on this issue than most. I do not believe marriage should be a function of the government other than making sure some basic rules are applied. Marriage is a function of the church, if your church allows you to get married then it is OK in my book.

Stem Cell Research:

Stem cell research should be conducted however we have to be careful how far we go for the sake of research. There is a fine line there that I have yet to find.

Affirmative Action:
In our area I have not seen any benefit it would provide in recent years. I believe its usefulness has faded and could be fazed out over the coming years. My view on this is rather limited.

Social Security:
Has been broken since as long as I can remember. I do not have a fix.

Welfare:
I am totally disgusted with the welfare system in place. It needs a complete overhaul. There are way to many people abusing the system.
